After 30+ years in the Water and Waste Water fields with
hands on management, sales training, and operation of his own
manufacturers' rep firm, Mr. Leech brings to the market a
practical experience geared to helping the equipment firm that
wants or needs temporary assistance in these areas working with
new representatives.
A short resume of past experience and firms/equipment
represented:
1975-1978 Dearborn Chemical. Territory sales engineer;
Area manager, District Manager. Sales of industrial boiler,
cooling water, and waste water treatment chemistry and
application equipment. Sold through direct sales force and
representative firms (Aqua Zyme brand).
1978-1980: Dowell Division, Dow Chemical. Sales engineer in
the Minining and Construction Division with primary
concentration on coal Freeze Conditioning agents and fugitive
dust control.
1980-1982: Regional Sales Manger, National Sales Manager,
Enviroflow Division of Flow Laboratories. Sales of DBC brand of
Dried Bacterial Cultures to municipalities and industries
through manufactuers' rep organizations. Responsible for
recruitment and training of agents and then regional managers.
Other duties involve budget development, marketing
coordination, etc.
1982-2007: Manufacturer's representative. Started as Sales
Engineer within the F. W. Flory Company, and evolved to own
firm in 1986 while maintaining associate status with Flory and
developing own lines. This gave us both greater flexibility and
compliance with various business structure guidelines, as well
as the opportunity for Leech to function more
independently.

While many
manufacturer's representatives evolve from past
sales representative experiences with a specific
equipment line and do not need sales training, there is a
